Don’t Let Complaining Replace Faith!

Deuteronomy 6:16 – “You must not test the Lord your God as you did when you complained at Massah.”

Complaining is often a symptom of misplaced focus. The Israelites forgot the miracles and focused on the lack.

Complaining questions God’s character. Faith puts your full trust in Him and His promises!

You don’t have to understand everything to trust God. Psalm 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

What situations in my life am I tempted to complain about? 
How would my attitude change if I focused on God’s faithfulness instead? 
What is one thing I can thank God for right now? 

Father, forgive me for times I’ve complained instead of trusted. Help me to speak faith, not doubt. Teach me to rest in Your goodness and faithfulness. Amen!
