Isaiah 55:11 gives us an incredible promise:
“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please.”
God’s Word always works.
It may take time.
It may work underground before you see it.
But it never returns empty.
In the natural, some seeds require heat. Some require water. Some sit dormant for years before they sprout.
Spiritually, it’s the same way.
You may have Scripture planted in your heart from childhood. You may have heard sermons years ago that seemed forgotten. But the Word of God is incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23). It doesn’t decay. It doesn’t expire. It doesn’t lose power.
At just the right time — it springs to life.
God watches over His Word to perform it. He is personally committed to the growth of what He has planted in you.
If you feel like nothing is happening, don’t give up.
Seeds don’t shout while they’re growing.
They work quietly — but powerfully.
Reflection Questions:
If you’ve been waiting on a promise, this is not the week to quit believing. Seeds work even when you can’t see them. Just because it hasn’t surfaced doesn’t mean it hasn’t started.
Trust the process.
