As believers, we know there are many moments in life where God moves us from here to there — from fear to faith, from confusion to clarity, from dryness to provision, from sickness to healing, from old identity to new purpose.

But the greatest there of all is heaven.

Jesus said in John 14:2, “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places… I go to prepare a place for you.” What a promise. Our journey here is not the end. Our obedience here is connected to eternity there.

This world is not our final home. We are people of promise, people of purpose, and people with a destination prepared by Jesus Himself.

That truth gives us hope. It reminds us that every earthly “there” is pointing us toward the ultimate there — being with Him forever.

So today, maybe your natural address has not changed. Maybe the scenery around you looks the same. But spiritually, God may be moving you. He may be calling you deeper, higher, closer, further. He may be telling you to trust Him with your next step.

And if you have given your life to Jesus, then your eternal destination has already changed. You have gone from death to life, from darkness to light, from lost to found.

What a Savior. What a promise. What a place called there!

John 14:2–3  “I go to prepare a place for you… that where I am, there you may be also.”

Reflection Questions:
Am I living with eternity in view?
What earthly “there” might God be using to prepare me for greater things?
How can I more fully trust Jesus as both my way and my destination?

God has a place called there for you in this life, and an eternal home prepared for you in the life to come. Walk with confidence. He is leading you every step of the way.
