Even as Jesus hung on the cross, He was still changing lives.

A criminal—guilty and condemned—deserving punishment—asked Jesus to remember him. With one act of faith, his label changed forever.

“Today you will be with Me in paradise.”

The cross proves that it is never too late for redemption. Jesus paid the ultimate price so that labels like sinner, condemned, and lost could be replaced with forgiven, redeemed, and free.

Who the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36).

Reflection Questions:
What does the cross mean to you personally?

Are there labels you need to surrender at the feet of Jesus?

How can you walk more confidently in the freedom Christ has given you?

Whatever label you’ve been living under—Jesus already paid to remove it. The game has changed. Your name/label has changed. Walk in it.
