One of the most beautiful truths in Scripture is that because of Jesus, we can enter the presence of God boldly.

Psalm 91 says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” That secret place is a place called there — the place where fear breaks, peace settles, and God speaks to the heart.

In the Old Testament, the presence of God was associated with the mercy seat. In Exodus 25:22, God said, “There I will meet with you.” But now, because of Jesus, the veil has been torn. Hebrews 10 tells us that we can come boldly into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.

That means there is not just a place we visit occasionally — there is a presence we can live in daily.

Prayer becomes there. Worship becomes there. The quiet moment where your heart turns toward God becomes there. And because the Holy Spirit lives in us, we carry His presence everywhere we go.

That changes everything. We do not have to wait for Sunday to encounter God. We do not have to wait for the perfect setting. We can meet with Him now.

Psalm 91:1  “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

Hebrews 10:19, 22  “Having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus… let us draw near…”

Reflection Questions:
How intentional have I been about dwelling in God’s presence?
What distractions have kept me from the secret place?
How would my life change if I stayed more aware of His presence every day?

Because of Jesus, the door into God’s presence is open. You are invited to dwell, not just visit. The secret place is available to you today.
