Blind Bartimaeus was known by his condition. His label followed him everywhere. It described his condition, his limitation, and how others saw him.  But when Jesus passed by, Bartimaeus refused to stay silent. Even when the crowd tried to stop him, he cried out in faith.

Jesus stopped.

In one moment, Bartimaeus went from blind beggar to healed follower of Christ. His faith opened the door for transformation and rewrote his identity!

When Jesus calls us, He is not focused on our past or our label—He is focused on our faith.

Reflection Questions:
What obstacles have tried to silence your faith?

Are you willing to cry out to Jesus despite opposition or doubt?

What might Jesus be asking you, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Don’t let the crowd silence your cry. Jesus still stops for people who dare to believe their story can change!
